• Refund and Return Policy
This Refund and Return Policy applies to all purchases made through Sri Mart and covers how customers and shop owners (sellers) must handle returns, refunds, and order-related issues. Sri Mart acts as an online marketplace that connects customers with independent shop owners. Because of this structure, Sri Mart is not responsible for product quality, warranty, or fulfillment. Those responsibilities belong to each individual shop owner who lists and sells items on the platform.
• Order Status for Returns
Customers may request a return or refund only when the order is marked as Delivered or Completed.
• Customer Change of Mind
Sri Mart allows change-of-mind returns only if the individual shop owner supports it within their store policy. If the shop owner does not accept change-of-mind returns, the order will not be eligible for a refund.
When customers request a return due to change of mind, the customer is responsible for all delivery, pickup or courier charges for both returning the item and receiving any replacement. Sri Mart does not cover these costs.
• Incorrect Orders Due to Customer Oversight
If a customer orders the wrong item because they did not read the description, specifications, or details carefully, the customer is responsible for all courier charges. Sri Mart and the shop owner are not required to provide free return shipping or compensation.
• Incorrect Orders Due to Shop Owner Error
If the shop owner ships the wrong item, missing items, defective items, or a product that does not match the listing, the shop owner is responsible for all return and reshipping costs. Sri Mart may assist with mediation if needed, but liability remains with the shop owner.
• Items Not Eligible for Return
The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:
– Perishable goods such as food or temperature-sensitive items
– Opened personal care or grooming products
– Underwear, masks or hygiene-related items
– Digital goods, activation codes or downloadable content
– Custom-made, personalised or specially manufactured items
• Refund Method
Refunds will be issued by the shop owner after receiving and inspecting the returned item. Refunds will be provided in the form of:
– Original payment method, or
– Store credit, based on shop owner’s policy
• Return Condition Requirements
Returned items must be in unused, original condition with all packaging, labels, accessories, and seals intact. Items that show damage, wear, missing parts, or signs of use may be rejected by the shop owner.
• Warranty Claims
Warranty availability depends on the manufacturer or shop owner. SriMart does not provide warranties directly. Customers must contact the shop owner for warranty-related support.
• Fraud Prevention
SriMart and shop owners reserve the right to refuse refunds or returns for suspected fraud, misuse, or policy abuse.
• SriMart’s Role
Sri Mart is not the seller of any products. SriMart does not manufacture, pack, or ship items and is not responsible for delivery delays, damages, or product issues. Sri Mart only provides a secure marketplace platform and payment gateway. All product-related responsibilities belong to the shop owner.
